Trying to run a business out of your home is like trying to run 2 businesses at the same time - your business & your home. At least when I'm at a work related conference, I'm only dealing with work and not home too with the cooking, cleaning & child-minding. Of course the flip side, is that if I want a break from work, I go on a family vacation (hopefully somewhere with a chef, a maid). I don’t know if all other female small business owners feel the same way that I do but I actually go to work related conferences as an escape.
